London Area, United Kingdom EC Recruitment Limited Full time

Are you a people person with a knack for problem-solving? Are you someone who thrives on ensuring things run smoothly?

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading Property Development and Asset Management company for an exciting role based in Northwest London. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a rooftop development project on an existing residential block. Our client is seeking a proactive and personable individual to act as the primary link between the residents and the construction team, ensuring seamless communication and a positive experience for all involved.

This unique dual role combines the best of both worlds: being the go-to connection between our construction team and local residents while also providing essential administrative support to our office. No two days are the same, making it the perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and meaningful interactions.

About the Role

This role is essential to support the smooth delivery of the project, which has an expected duration of around 12 months. For the right person, this can transition into a permanent position, as the company has a strong pipeline of future projects and office-based opportunities.

The company understands the value of flexibility and is open to adjusting hours and working days to suit your lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Resident Communication: Be the friendly, approachable main point of contact for residents, ensuring their concerns are heard and addressed.
  • Project Updates: Act as the bridge between the construction team and residents, providing clear and timely updates about timelines and potential disruptions.
  • On-Site Presence: Spend time on-site (around 3-4 days per week) to engage directly with residents and support the project team.
  • Complaints Resolution: Handle and resolve resident complaints with professionalism, escalating when necessary.
  • Resident Notifications: Draft and distribute notices and updates about the project, ensuring residents are informed and reassured.
  • Meeting Coordination: Organize and host resident meetings to share project progress and foster open communication.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of interactions, issues, and resolutions.
  • Administrative Support: Provide office-based support, including data entry and managing communications.

What We’re Looking For

  • Excellent Communication Skills: Confident, approachable, and professional in both verbal and written communication.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: Calm under pressure, with the ability to think on your feet.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Build strong relationships with residents, colleagues, and the construction team.
  • Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using IT tools to create newsletters, emails, and other communication materials.

Your Experience

  • Experience in a Resident Liaison or customer-facing role is highly beneficial.
  • Background in property, construction or a key account manager could work well.

Why Apply?

This role offers a unique chance to work on a significant project while enjoying flexibility in your work schedule. It is a great opportunity for someone who has an interest in property and getting an insight into property development whilst earning a salary of up to £40k.
