Business Development Manager

About the Role:
We are working with a growing pharmaceutical company that is expanding its footprint across Europe and looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to spearhead growth. Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, you will play a key role in identifying and securing new business opportunities while fostering long-term partnerships.
This remote role offers a flexible working environment with plenty of autonomy to manage your portfolio and grow your network in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage with potential clients in the pharma and biotech sectors to expand the company’s client base.
- Build strong, lasting relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the pharmaceutical sector.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, regulatory, R&D) to present tailored solutions to clients.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and pipelines through CRM systems.
What We’re Looking For:
- A minimum of 3 years of business development or sales experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industries.
- Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical product lifecycle and industry regulations.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage with clients at all levels.
- Self-starter attitude with a high degree of autonomy and the ability to manage your own schedule.
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages (e.g., French, German) are a plus.
- Ability to work remotely and travel occasionally for client meetings or industry events.
