Sales Executive

Office based, Telford


The company is a market leading, global equipment manufacturer, supplying in to the food & beverage, pharmaceutical, industrial and energy industries.


The candidate for this position will excel at creating and closing new sales opportunities. By using a consultative approach to selling, this person will use their expertise to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities with both new and existing customers.


Responsibilities

  • Meet and exceed sales targets
  • Successfully create business from new and existing customer accounts
  • Build rapport and establish long term relationships with customers
  • Identify solutions and generate comprehensive proposals in a timely and accurate manner. Explore and manage/direct sales leads that have been qualified by Marketing team.
  • Pro-actively follow up solutions proposals.
  • Negotiate with the customer to successfully secure orders.


Qualifications


  • Qualified with either an Engineering/Business Degree or relevant industry experience.
  • A background in engineering or manufacturing would be desirable
  • Previous experience in either a sales or customer service role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Someone who is able to build and rapport and relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Excellent Customer Service and communication skills
  • Attention to detail & accuracy, excellent administration skills.
