Keepit is looking for an Alliance Business Development Manager to develop new Alliances in the EMEA region.


We are growing fast as a company, and we are set on bringing our market leading SaaS data protection and recovery services to a global audience. We’ve seen a lot of success within the OEM space and are exploring opportunities to expand with other types of alliances. Now we want to build further on that success in the EMEA region.


As Alliance Business Development Manager (BDM) focusing on strategic partnerships, OEMs, and alliances in the EMEA region, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, negotiating, and cultivating partnerships to drive business growth and market expansion. Your primary responsibility will be to establish and nurture strong relationships with key alliance partners and OEMs, developing and executing strategies to drive mutual success and achieve revenue targets.


Key responsibilities as Alliance BDM with Keepit will include:

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard potential OEM partners or other strategic Alliance Partners such as ISVs, GSIs, or other types that align with the company's business objectives and growth strategy in the EMEA.
  • Lead negotiations, contract development, and ongoing partnership management to ensure mutually beneficial agreements and outcomes.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing Alliance Partners and OEMs ensuring high levels of satisfaction and collaboration.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, and legal teams to drive successful partnership implementations and initiatives.
  • Act as a liaison between Alliance Partners and Keepit’s R&D/Product teams to ensure that solutions are aligned with emerging technology trends and market needs.
  • Design and deliver tailored training and enablement programs for partners, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to effectively position and sell Keepit’s solutions.
  • Drive regular performance reviews, reporting, and metrics analysis to track alliance success and devise strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Explore and develop creative partnership models, such as white-label solutions, embedded offerings, or joint go-to-market strategies.
  • Set and achieve clear partnership KPIs, such as Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) targets or seat acquisition goals to drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Represent Keepit at industry events and forums to promote alliance opportunities and highlight Keepit’s value proposition.


As Alliance Business Development Manager, you will be joining our Alliance team in EMEA and report to our VP of Alliances. We expect you to work from within a key business hub such as London, Munich, Frankfurt or Paris, making it possible for you to meet with our potential partners, or to work from our Copenhagen office.

Alliance Sales and Business Development: The ideal candidate has outstanding abilities to drive business with alliance partners and will maintain a razor-sharp focus on revenue generation as the end goal. Knowledge of potential models for a strong alliance and creativity to develop great ideas will also be a key part of our assessment.


2. International Collaboration: Being able to facilitate great interdisciplinary virtual collaboration with key stakeholders and teams across regions is vital to this role.


3. Tech-savvy with a commercial mindset: The role thus requires a solid understanding of the technical aspects of the backup- and recovery space, storage, or it-infrastructure, for example, from working with our competitors, as well as the ability to effectively communicate the business value of our product.


4. Hunter-mentality: We are looking for someone ready to hunt for new business. We believe this requires a hunter-mentality and a person prepared to spend time and energy seeking new business relations. Having a strong network of potential alliance partners throughout the region will be a key asset.


5. Entrepreneurial spirit: We are passionate about our workplace, and we know that a good work environment and great collaboration across our organization are crucial to achieving our ambitious goals. For the position, we are looking for someone who is self-sufficient and can take initiative and who can at the same time be a positive contributor to our team, working remotely across the region.
