Autus Data Services provides high quality data solutions for businesses offering products or services in the B2B Financial Services industry. By leveraging FCA Register and Directory data, we help clients target high-potential opportunities with precision and track individuals as they transition between firms. Our goal is to ensure that organisations engage with the right Financial Services firms and individuals, allowing sales teams to focus on core responsibilities rather than data management, and marketing teams to improve their reach.

We are a small company where you can make a real difference in a largely autonomous role where you will determine your level of success. 


What you will do

This is a full-time remote role for a self motivated Business Development Director at Autus Data Services.

You will be responsible for new lead generation, business development, contract negotiation, and account management. Day-to-day tasks include identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, nurturing prospects, negotiating contracts, managing existing client relationships and keeping the CRM system up to date.

As you build a portfolio of clients your earnings will increase accordingly. Writing multi-year contracts means that you will already be a good way towards your target on 1st January each year rather than starting from zero.

Support will be provided by the director/owners for you to develop your client bank using a range of market leading products. 


Your Skills and Experience

  • Lead Generation and New Business Development in a B2B environment
  • Account Management skills
  • Proven track record of successful B2B business development and sales growth
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Comfortable using Powerpoint, Excel and CRM systems
  • A network of sales/marketing/compliance contacts in senior positions in Life Co's, Asset Managers, Banks, Building Societies, General Insurance Providers, IFA Networks/Service Providers, FS Recruitment Consultants, Technology Providers, Trade Media would be an advantage
