There is a lot to love about this school, from its friendly team, outstanding leadership, and lovely warm feel. The school provides a varied education for students with complex learning needs and require a complex needs teacher who has some previous special needs experience.
As a complex needs teacher you will be teaching a small class of Key Stage 4 students who have a range of additional needs. The children are brilliant and the staff that you will be working with love what they do. You will be supported by a minimum of two teaching assistants and teaching a class of no more than 8 children, many of which have a 1-2-1. This is a lovely opportunity for a complex needs teacher to have a long-lasting impact on the lives of children with special educational needs.
Job Role:
Teaching a small class of Key Stage 4 Students with Special Educational Needs
Planning and delivering lessons to meet the need of individual students
Liaising with the SENCO and TAs to ensure children are supported appropriately
Making school a nurturing, welcoming and safe place for students
Helping young people to break down academic and social barriersIn return you will enjoy:
