- Aspire People Limited- **Job description**: Aspire People are currently seeking devoted PMLD/SLD Specialist support staff for a Special Needs school in the Birmingham area.
All children have a full diagnosis and EHCP plans to support their learning. They have complex needs and require both Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistants to fully engage with the children to develop and nurture positive relationships. This will be working on a 1-1 or on a small groups basis.
To be successful in this role you will need a calm and empathetic nature, a resilient personality and be able to use your own initiative; health and safety procedures and the welfare of the children are paramount.
Aspire People is fully committed in helping to improve the education of SEND children across the Telford area; supporting local Special Needs Schools in finding the ideal staff that meet the needs of their school community.
The school I am recruiting for are passionate and fully develop the welfare of both their students and staff.
To be considered for the position above you will need to have the following minimum requirements:
- Ideally a qualification in Support Teaching and Learning (not essential)
- Experience of supporting pupils with children and young people with PMLD & SLD needs (desirable)
