Job Role:
Teaching a small class of primary-aged pupils with special educational needs
Creating individualised education plans (IEPs) tailored to each pupil's specific needs and abilities
Implementing creative and engaging teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles
Using a range of specialized resources and equipment to support pupil learning and development
Collaborating with support staff, therapists, and parents to provide a holistic approach to education
Assessing pupil progress and providing regular feedback to pupils, parents, and the school's leadership team
Contributing to the school's inclusive and nurturing ethos, promoting positive behaviour and emotional well-being

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience working with pupils with special educational needs
Passion for inclusive education and a commitment to supporting the individual needs of each pupil
Strong understanding of different learning styles and strategies to support pupils with diverse needs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with pupils, parents, and colleagues
Resilience, patience, and adaptability in responding to the unique challenges of special education
