Skills required for Assistant Purchasing Manager:
At least 5 years of experience in an engineering/manufacturing purchasing environment
Expertise in APQP, PPAP, TS-16949, cost tracking, and quotation analysis
Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
Highly proficient in Excel and SAP
Ability to manage supplier relationships and drive cost-saving initiatives
Full UK driving license and flexibility to travel
