Project Delivery Specialist – fulltime, permanent role
We are advertising for a Project Delivery Specialist to join our Delivery Team, responsible for ensuring that our rail projects are delivered on time and to a high standard. This varied role will involve reviewing and reporting on data collected from various types of sensors including Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), LiDAR and cameras. A typical project could involve analysing data from 1000s kilometres of railway, captured from railway networks around the world. It is the Project Delivery Specialist’s role to condense this vast amount of information into digestible insights for our customers.

Zetica are a UK based independent geophysical specialist, providing environmental and engineering geophysical solutions to a wide range of construction, infrastructure and engineering clients. Renowned for our quality and breadth of capability, innovation and efficiency, we are the ‘go-to’ for clients who value meticulous attention to the brief, going beyond expectations, and problem solving.
This ad is for a position in our Rail department. We specialise in analysis of worldwide rail infrastructure and it’s subsurface. Our data collection is based on applied geophysical science that ultimately informs the customer on a variety of measures required to manage infrastructure upgrade and maintenance programmes.
The Role & Responsibilities
Key responsibilities for this role include:
* Preparing customer deliverables including reports and data visualisations
* Carrying out statistical reviews of the data to ensure its validity and to extract useful customer insights
* Carrying out detailed reviews of raw data to investigate anomalies and examine interesting features
* Reviewing location information (collected using an inertial measurement system (INS)) to ensure all data can be accurately located in the real world
* Ensuring that deliverables meet all requirements from the project specification
* Comparing results to available ground truth information to confirm its accuracy
Full training will be provided.
The Team
You will be working as part of a small Project Delivery Team.
Requirements
Key skills for this role include:
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Experience with data visualization tools is helpful (Tableau, Power BI, Excel)
* Basic programming with Python or MATLAB is preferred.
* Strong communications skills to collaborate with team members in the Project Delivery Team
* Attention to detail to produce customer friendly outputs
* Experience analysing and processing GPR radargrams and / or LiDAR data
Salary and benefits
Salary range is £26,000 to £31,000, depending on experience. 25 days annual leave plus UK bank holidays. 5% company pension contribution.
