Job Description

Job Summary

The Geophysicist will be responsible for leading geophysical projects from initial planning to completion, ensuring high-quality results and excellent customer service. This role requires strong technical expertise, effective communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement geophysical projects based on customer requirements, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.
  • Collect and manage high-quality geophysical data, utilizing various techniques and software, including electromagnetics, magnetics, radio frequency location, GPR, seismics, ERI, and utility services detection.
  • Ensure data quality meets company standards, utilizing QC procedures and geophysical software, such as AutoCAD, Oasis Montaj, RES2DINV, Radan, and IDS-GRED.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive project reports, including factual, interpretive, and recommendation sections, focusing on customer requirements and quality.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, technical enhancements, and efficiency gains, contributing to the company's growth and success.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and customers to ensure excellent communication, customer service, and project outcomes.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in a similar geophysical role.
  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience.
  • Full driving license and good physical fitness, as site work requires walking and lifting.
