Job Description

Job Title: Graduate Geophysicist

Company: The Curve Group

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Remote (with occasional on-site work)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Graduate Geophysicist to join our team. As a Geophysicist, you will be responsible for conducting geophysical surveys, collecting and analyzing data, and providing high-quality reports to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct geophysical surveys using a range of techniques, including electromagnetics, magnetics, radio frequency location, GPR, seismics, ERI, and utility services detection
  • Collect and analyze data to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Use specialist geophysical software and drawing packages to process, analyze, and interpret data
  • Prepare high-quality reports for clients, including factual, interpretative, and recommendation sections
  • Identify new ways of working to improve efficiency and quality
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve project goals and objectives

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Geophysics or a related field
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full driving license
