Spencer Clarke Group are seeking a Family Support Worker/Early Help Practitioner for a Local Authority Client based in Twickenham.
In this role, you will provide vital early help family support interventions to children, young people, and families, ensuring they receive integrated, multi-agency support to achieve positive outcomes and prevent escalation to specialist services.
About the role:
You will be tasked with delivering key strategic objectives:
Conduct assessments of children and families using our assessment framework to identify needs and risks.
Develop and implement SMART care plans in partnership with children, young people, and families.
Coordinate multi-agency partnerships (Team Around the Child) to deliver integrated support.
Maintain accurate records, monitor interventions, and evaluate outcomes using Management Information Systems.
About you:
The successful candidate will have the following skills / experience:
Experience working with children, young people, and families with safeguarding issues and additional needs.
Ability to conduct thorough assessments of children and families using an assessment framework.
Experience in coordinating and working collaboratively with multi-agency partners to deliver integrated support plans.
What's on offer:
Salary: £21ph+per hour
*may negotiate higher for exceptional candidates, based on experience*
Contract type: 3-6, months minimum, with a high likelihood of extension
Hours: Monday - Friday, 36 hours per week
