This global retail design and build organisation are looking to boost the expansion and growth of their London office. They are seeking an experienced business developer/marketer with a background in the architecture/interior design sector.

You will play a pivotal role in their growth, identifying new business opportunities and developing strategic partnerships. Great opportunity to join a growing business and be part of their ongoing success.

Key ResponsibilitiesnCarry out market research to identify new business opportunities and potential clients in the retail and architectural sectors globally.nDevelop and implement strategic business plans to enter new markets and expand their presencenInitiate and nurture relationships with potential clients, including retailers, developers, and other stakeholdersnPrepare and deliver presentations and proposals to prospective clientsnMaintain strong relationships with major existing clients.nWork closely with operational teams to ensure that client requirements are accurately understood and incorporated into project proposals.nCollaborate with other team members to create promotional materials and campaigns that align with business development strategiesnMonitor market trends and competitor activity to adjust strategies and maintain competitive advantage.nPrepare regular reports on progress and forecastsnPromote the business with prominent industry speaking engagements, panel discussions, competitions and others.

Skills and ExperiencenBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Architecture, or a related field.nProven experience (3-5 years) in business development or marketing, preferably in the design, architecture, or retail industry.nStrong understanding of the retail landscape and design market dynamics on a global scale.nExcellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.nAbility to travel internationally as required.nExceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team.nExcellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills with exceptional networking experience: highly personable and engaging.nDetail-oriented, proactive, confident, with the ability to take ownership, organise tasks, and manage deadline-driven efforts..nFamiliarity with Client Relationship Management (CRM) systems, Adobe Creative Suite, and MS Office.
