An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Practice Manager to join one of Lancashire's leading multi-office law firms. As a key member of the firm's management team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the organisation. This senior-level position involves collaborating closely with Equity Partners to oversee various aspects of the firm's management, from SRA Accounts Compliance to HR matters.
Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with Equity Partners to plan and organise the overall running of the firm, ensuring its efficiency and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
* Oversee SRA Accounts Compliance and financial management, maintaining accuracy and transparency in financial operations.
* Manage HR matters, including recruitment, employee performance, training, and employee well-being initiatives.
* Streamline operating processes to enhance overall productivity and effectiveness.
* Monitor and maintain compliance with relevant legal and professional standards.
* Implement strategies for business development and growth, in coordination with the firm's partners.
* Provide effective leadership to the support staff, fostering a positive and motivated work environment.
* Identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to optimize firm performance.
* Stay updated on changes in regulations and legislation affecting the legal industry, ensuring the firm remains compliant.
Requirements:
* Proven management experience in a substantial legal or similar professional organisation.
* Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, driving organisational success.
* Strong financial acumen, with experience in SRA Accounts Compliance.
* Excellent understanding of HR management and employment law.
* Exceptional organisational and problem-solving skills.
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Ability to work collaboratively with partners and stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
* Familiarity with legal practice management software is advantageous.
* Candidates from non-legal backgrounds with relevant management experience will be considered.
