Field Service Engineer – Instrumentation / Electrical / AutomationnLondon

Role + ResponsibilitiesnWe are currently recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to cover London area. You will be required to service, commission, and fault diagnostics/repair of a range of electronic and mechanical process control instrumentation.

Main responsibilitiesnYou will develop your electrical skills within our onsite training centrenYou will be commissioning, calibrating, and repairing onsite measurement instrumentation equipment.nYou will be working in all industries (Food & Beverage, Water, Oil & Gas, Power & Energy, Chemical, Life Science) within the Company customer databasenYou will be liaising with the Service Coordinators to ensure that all spares, tools and paperwork is available to enable them to carry out their dutiesnYou will be adhering to site safety rules, permit to work systems and carry out risk assessmentsnYou will be working to local and industry procedures and to comply with industry codes of practice and the Company quality management systemnYou will be required to travel up to 2 hours from your home address with periods of absence from home will be expected from time to time which will include overnight stays in hotelsnYou will be providing services and support to other departments and customers as deemed appropriate by the Services Manager

Qualification + ProfilenQualified to ONC/HNC level, preferably in Electronics or Instrumentation of controlnapprenticeship in the above disciplines is ideal or a minimum of 2 years' Process Control experiencenSolving and diagnostic skillsnYou will be highly motivated and have the ability to work on own initiative or as part of a teamnFlexible approach to working activitiesnCommunication and organisational skillsnAbility to develop good working relationships with customersnPunctuality and timekeepingnClean driving licence.
