What you'll do
As our Radio Design Authority, you will be responsible for leading multiple technical work streams whilst steering the multi-vendor radio roadmap & design. You will be focussing on the optimisation strategy to target specific KPIs, improve our customers experience & support on UK & vendor-scale performance issues

  • You will be a Subject Matter Expert for Mobile Networks with responsibility for ensuring cross-vendor alignment on all aspects of performance-impacting design wherever possible.
  • You will be aaccountable for developing a multi-vendor, multi-layer, performance, and optimisation framework with a focus on the continuous improvement of the customer experience.
  • You will regularly use network insights from various sources and be accountable for identifying the key design changes that will fulfil Network's strategy and performance targets.
  • You will be responsible for identifying, creating & promoting new customer experience KPIs, beyond our traditional methodology.
  • You will organise regular technical discussions to share the latest knowledge and strategy between technical vendor teams.

Who you are

  • You will be a key influencer and responsible for delivering short and medium term strategies.
  • You will have a good understanding on RAN vendors (Huawei/Ericsson/Samsung preferred) combined with further Networks experience such as TX/CORE/ Deployment/Operations etc.
  • You will be comfortable with working cross-functionally and driving collaboration between teams and functions.
  • You will demonstrate excellent communication skills & be able to communicate confidently and effectively to all levels of the business, adapting communication approach as needed.
  • You will be able to explain complex concepts in a way that is easy to understand for different audiences.
  • You will showcase stakeholder management skills and be an effective communicator both internally and externally.
