**What you’ll do**

Design and test microwave solutions that will support our mobile radio access network backhaul.

Actively facilitate and promote cross team co-operation as design authority, enabling a one team mentality within the UK Operating company for all microwave related aspects
- Create high quality designs that maximise throughput and availability on microwave transmission links.
- Carry out testing against designs for features and new microwave hardware and software.
- Provide and maintain documentation to support in-life management of microwave radio systems.
- Chair a microwave community of interest that promotes co-operation and knowledge share amongst the planning, operations & design communities

**Who you are**
- Good understanding of microwave technology principles.
- Experience in designing and testing IP, Qos & Layer 2 technologies
- Excellent written & verbal communications skills
- Exposure to Ericsson mini-link and SIAE radio platforms.
- Good understanding of mobile 4G and 5G RAN technologies.**What we offer**
