The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing engaging and informative content that resonates with their target audience, enhancing brand presence, and driving customer engagement and conversion.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop compelling and SEO-friendly copy for the website, blog, email campaigns, social media, and product descriptions.
- Create informative and engaging content that educates and excites the businesses target audience about their products.
- Collaborate with the marketing & e-commerce team to create and execute content strategies that align with their brand voice and marketing goals.
- Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics to ensure content is accurate, up-to-date, and relevant.
- Edit and proofread content to ensure it is error-free and adheres to brand guidelines.
- Monitor content performance and use insights to optimize and improve future content.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor activities to keep content fresh and relevant.
- Optimise web content, fix technical issues, and enhance site performance.
Experience and skills required:
- Proven experience as a digital copywriter or similar role.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and content optimisation techniques.
- Familiarity with digital marketing channels and content distribution platforms.
- Ability to conduct thorough research and present complex information in a clear and engaging manner.
- Creativity and a passion for storytelling
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Degree in English, Marketing, Communications or a related field is preferred, but not essential.
