HRS Healthcare are recruiting for a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner for a Complex Care Provider who support adults and children with a variety of complex care needs in their own home across the southeast.
This is a brand-new role to the business so a great opportunity to make it your own
About the role
* To contribute on all existing clients and new referrals requiring positive behaviour support.
* To carry our functional assessments, develop positive behaviour support plans and assist families and staff with implementing positive behavioural interventions.
* Ensure all practices adhere to the BACB ethics code.
* Attend and contribute to all multi-disciplinary meetings
* Write clear and comprehensive reports
* Lead on any third-party referrals when required
About you
* At least 2 years’ experience of assessing and intervening with children and adults with challenging behaviours.
* Experience of working with individuals with spinal injuries, ABI and challenging behaviours
* Work collaboratively with the wider team
* PBS qualification and ideally hold HCPC, UK-SBA, NMC or BACB registration.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to plan effectively with good time management.
* You will have the right to work in the UK and hold a clean UK driving licence
