london, United Kingdom Enabling Procurement Full time

If interested, please apply through website: About the Role We’re hiring a Senior Manager to lead cost-take-out and sourcing optimisation programmes for our clients. You’ll own delivery, grow key accounts, and help build the firm—ideal for someone with entrepreneurial instinct who wants a fast track to Director/Partner. About Us Enabling Procurement is a rapidly growing boutique procurement consultancy with offices in the UK, US and France. Our teams combine top procurement expertise with deep consulting delivery capability to help clients achieve material, measurable impact. Typical EP assignments involve working on behalf of Boards or Private Equity investors to conduct opportunity assessments and deliver end-to-end procurement transformation programmes. We don’t just advise—we deliver. This includes deep procurement diagnostics, spend analytics, category strategies, RFPs, supplier negotiations, implementation leadership, and process improvements. What You’ll Do • Lead client programmes end-to-end: diagnostics, category strategies, RFPs/e-sourcing, supplier negotiations, implementation and benefits tracking. • Deliver hard savings across both Direct categories (ingredients, packaging, co-manufacturing/co-packing, logistics) and Indirect categories. • Act as the face of the account: C-suite engagement, steering committees, issue/risk management and strong executive-level storytelling. • Grow revenue: identify opportunities, shape SOWs/proposals, and convert follow-on work. • Coach and develop a high-performing team; set the bar for analysis quality, commercial modelling and supplier engagement. • Contribute to building EP’s consulting practice- playbooks, benchmarks, thought leadership and scalable IP/tools. Must-Have experience • Significant senior experience in procurement consulting , with a demonstrable track record of leading cost-take-out and procurement transformation engagements within a recognised consulting firm (leading consultancy or specialist procurement boutique). • Proven ability to independently lead and expand multiple client assignments; recognised by senior stakeholders as a trusted advisor . • Good experience in business development. You would have built trusted relationships with senior sponsors from your past work that you can leverage to open new opportunities for Enabling Procurement • Hands-on experience delivering sourcing optimisation across both Direct and Indirect categories, ideally across multiple industries. • Strong command of category management, strategic sourcing, RFP/e-sourcing, should-cost/BOM modelling and supplier performance governance. • Able to manage complex, multi-country projects and engage senior client sponsors confidently. • Excellent commercial writing skills (decks, business cases) and strong data fluency A Note on Required Consulting Background (Please Read Before Applying) This is a senior consulting role. We are specifically looking for someone who has spent a substantial portion of their career within a recognised consulting environment Industry-side experience is valued, but on its own it will not be sufficient for this role. You must be able to demonstrate experience delivering in a structured consulting setting with the associated expectations of client leadership, commercial rigour, and high-quality output. Please also note that operating solely as an independent contractor/freelancer, without prior experience in an established consulting firm, is unlikely to be the right fit for this role. Nice to have • Exposure to Consumer and Food sectors, given our regular work in COGS optimisation including ingredients/commodities, packaging and co-manufacturing. • Experience working with Private Equity and Venture Capital sponsors. What we offer • Fast progression in a high-growth boutique with clear visibility to broader P&L responsibility. • Global client exposure across Europe, the UK and the USA. • Competitive compensation with performance bonus. • High autonomy, low bureaucracy and the opportunity to make a big impact.
