TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialised SEND schools based in the Durham area who are looking to recruit roles on a temporary or long-term basis. The schools we work with all have specialised areas and you must be able to adapt to a changing environment.
We are looking for a passionate teacher with SEND experience, on a temporary or long-team basis. The successful applicant will be working with SEND pupils with various needs. The successful applicant will be working with students across all age ranges, helping the teacher with everyday classroom duties and working on a 1:1 basis with pupils.
The successful teaching assistant will have:
Relevant Teaching assistant qualification. (level 2)
Excellent behavioural management skills.
Experience working within a SEND environment.
Experience working in both a one-to-one setting and small groups
Must have excellent behavioural management skills
