Client Relationship Manager

About the Role

Level : Level 3

Department: Quilter Cheviot Financial Planning

Location : Chester

Contract type : Fixed Term Contract/Secondment

Contract Duration : 12 months

Within this role you will manage and lead the Client Relationship Team in the facilitation of organising and delivering client support processing services to QCFP advisers. Management of the Client Relationship, Client Liaison and Office Administration will sit at the forefront of responsibilities along with the accountability for the delivery of enhanced client service.

The focus of this role is leadership of individuals, optimization of efficiencies and development of the overall team. Ensuring consistency and accuracy whilst keeping the business safe is a high priority.

You will work alongside the other members of the leadership team within the region to maximise collaboration across the Client Relationship, Paraplanning and Financial planning teams to deliver excellent customer outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Supporting and co-ordinating the work allocation and flow for a team of client support staff (Client Relationship, Client liaison & Office administrator)
  • Ensuring that all Financial Planners are supported by one of the CR team to ensure that the FP optimizes their time in front of clients
  • Oversight of new business processing and implementation
  • Oversight of planned review activity within the required regulatory time scales to mitigate the risk of disengagements and remediation
  • Work collaboratively with other regional leadership team colleagues
  • Providing administrative cover when necessary
  • Ensuring that the pipeline of new business is constantly monitored and expedited
  • Oversight of the client journey ensuring the team are delivering an excellent experience for our clients including progress updates (client touch points)
  • Ongoing administration of client records and all other associated client support services
  • Conducting monthly 121 meetings with client support team
  • Identification of team development needs and implementation of actions to improve performance
  • Providing input/feedback for staff performance appraisals
  • Input and implementation of administration processes
  • Developing and creating pathways for better Client Experiences/Outcomes
  • Oversee suitable recruitment of well-suited individuals
  • Lead and manage team and national initiatives
  • Be an expert in deriving action from MI/BI, also produce and express MI required and reported where required
  • Monitor and interrogate department production
  • Oversight of employment contractual arrangements & performance appraisals
  • Establish, deliver and analyse Management Information relating to QCFP including production and servicing data
