About the Role
In this role, you will be a member of the Hub Leadership Team (SLT), which covers UK, Germany, UAE, India, South Africa and Turkey, reporting to the President of the Hub. You will contribute to the identification, and realization of attractive growth opportunities, through both organic and inorganic means. This role has principal responsibility for driving robust commercial and customer analysis and data-driven decision-making into portfolio and event development, and monitoring and supporting any initiatives related to achieving profitable growth. You will establish and manage the Hub’s commercial pricing, project management and customer insight team, and lead the commercial development and direction of the Hub, in close coordination with the RX Global Strategy organisation. You will oversee the design and implementation of major customer insight and pricing projects, conduct event analysis, provide market intelligence, and advise on strategic, operational, tactical, and business development objectives.
Responsibilities
Making recommendations for the Hub to maximize growth opportunities. Leading and supporting strategic projects. Working directly with RX Global Strategy, and Hub Event, Marketing, Finance and Operations teams to achieve return on investment.
Designing and implementing a programme of data-driven standards for business casing activities. To include Proposed Launch Plans, strategic plans, event value plans, major hub project and communication decks.
Liaising with other RX offices and Portfolio leadership to support existing geoclone events and identify new geoclone opportunities. In addition, working with RX Legal to secure license agreements and protect RX’s IP and TM’s where required.
Leading the UK Pricing team to develop a Hub Pricing Framework. Implementing clear, effective and measurable pricing and packaging programmes across the Hub shows. Overseeing portfolio pricing plans to drive average order value, retention, expanded product mix and digital adoption. Supporting the UK Hub value-based sales approach.
Partnering with GTECH, supporting and leading efforts to keep the UHub in line with RX’s digital product adoption policies. Devising initiatives for the Hub to adopt new RX Digital Products. Assisting with the creation of strategies with GTECH to achieve objectives.
Sharing insights with GTECH and other RX business units. Helping to frame expectations and setting key metrics to optimise RX business performance. Driving data curation and collection.
Overseeing an annual programme of scheduled customer/market assessments, in conjunction with the Hub portfolio leadership team. Procuring and managing third-party research parties as required. Responsible for effective read-out and implementation activities of major research outcomes and analysis.
Overseeing all major project initiatives across the Hub as assigned. Establishing and presenting Steering Committees as required. Monitoring communications, agenda items, and project milestones effectively.
Requirements
Be experienced developing robust working relationships with business units across a global organization, ensuring connectivity between operations and business performance.
Demonstrate a deep and current understanding of the events industry and landscape. Be experienced managing and overseeing multiple projects concurrently whilst monitoring the industry landscape.
Possess experience managing and implementing general operating processes and policies for commercial teams. Possess experience implementing process for establishing, measuring and expanding a programme of experimentation.
Be experienced driving innovation through business transformation and process design resources. Be experienced seeking efficiencies and consistency of approach, with a digital-first mindset.
Demonstrate experience driving projects to planned targets, timelines and measured outcomes.
Possess experience planning, coordinating and managing the allocation of team resources to deliver timely results.
