What you'll be doing:

The primary focus of the Processing Centre within Logistics is to be able handle and initially process all inbound correspondence received into Direct Line and ensure that it is uploaded to the correct digital platform.

The role of Processing Centre Team Leader will be to ensure that we maintain a sustainable, BAU operation, also they will also manage the identification, analysing, management and implementation (ranging from small to large-scale) of document capture and recognition solutions for Logistics and wider business.

The Processing Centre Team Leader will also lead the Processing Centre Team to deliver a fit for purpose service also they will support for wider Logistics projects, including risk, financial processes and change and efficiencies.

Provide Subject Matter Expertise for inbound document capture and recognition solutions that will be based on the OpenText software platform.

Design, deliver and implementation of digital workflows

Identify and define opportunities to digitalise paper-based processes across DLG.

Help design end-to-end digital solutions and related processes using Open text software (using rule building, web reports and workflows)

Provide Subject Matter Expertise for the Paragon Outbound Hybrid Mail Solution, including delivering new functionality to the solution and platform maintenance

Manage the implementation of solutions

Provide Business Analyst Support for Logistics

Day to Day Management and Management of Processing Centre Team, including the improving and efficiency projects across the team

Responsible for the role out of all systems, processes, and products, maintaining all standards of practice and lead process improvement initiatives daily.

Help implement new processes and services resulting from Change Requests from the wider business.

Preparation and publication of training material and delivery of training.

Provide Management Information (MI) Reports for the Logistics Function

What you'll need:

Experience in a team leader or supervisory role within a processing centre or similar environment.

Leadership and people management skills.

Digital Workflow knowledge

Experience of business analysis & project support

Experience of MI reporting & validation

Experience of Incident, Change and Release Management
