One of my local authority clients based within South Wales are looking for an experience EHO/Health & Safety Officer for a 6 month initial contract.
The role will be to act as the Lead H&S Officer around commercial Health and Safety investigation, inspections and any enforcement required.
Duties:
Investigation and Inspections of Commercial Health and Safety Premises/Businesses.
Undertake any Enforcement Action required.
Conduct risk assessments and write RIDDOR reports, to then give advice to businesses within the area on improvements that can be made.You will need to have previous Local Authority/Council experience in this type of role.
