Main duties and responsibilities of the New Business Development Executive
Market Research - Research and Identify new opportunities
Pipeline - Create, manage and maintain a pipeline of prospects
Outreach - Contact prospects using multiple forms of outreach, including cold calls, emails and LinkedIn
Sales Pitch – Sell our USP’s, service and expertise
Shows - Occasionally, visit exhibitions/trade shows to network
Recording calls, and emails and setting follow-up tasks.
Develop and maintain sales pipeline.
Develop and maintain customer relationships.
Work to sales-driven targets and KPIs and report data to senior management as and when requested.
Ensure CRM contains correct up to date client information.
Cross functional Collaboration - work alongside various teams to deliver an outstanding service
Gain and stay up to date on services we offer
Experience/knowledge requirements for the New Business Development Executive:
Computer competent - be capable of using various computer software/programmes, including but not limited to ACT (CRM), Sage, Outlook, Excel, Smartsheet, Rocketreach, Lusha, and Microsoft Office
Exude professionalism and provide excellent customer service
Previous new business development experience
Previous experience in packaging would be ideal but not essential
Strong communication skills.
Experience using CRM systems.
Proactive and able to work off own initiative.
