The Symphony Group PLC is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our Skyline team in the Southern region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for securing new business opportunities and developing long-term relationships with key contractors in the high-rise market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the high-rise market, focusing on securing new contractors and developing long-term relationships.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure that customers receive excellent service and that market share is maximized.
  • Manage and grow existing Symphony accounts with key contractors in the South of England, covering London and the surrounding areas.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the high-rise market, including platforms such as A-Site and the importance of ensuring drawings are at Status A before kitchens are called off.
  • Finalize specifications pre-tender and submit all relevant information to internal Symphony departments to arrange design and quotations for pending schemes.
  • Present quotations and designs to contractors post-tender and follow up to secure new works and develop relationships to build further pipeline for the future.
  • Organize site set-up meetings prior to handing over to the Project Management Team when sites go live.

Requirements:

  • A proven track record of securing new business in the high-rise market, ideally with experience in specification-based sales.
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills, with a full UK driving license and a relevant CSCS card.
  • Ability to communicate confidently with people at all levels, including Site/Project Managers, Buyers, and Senior Managers.
  • Self-motivated and able to maintain deadlines, with a strong attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure.
