This individual will play a key role in driving employee growth, performance, and engagement through innovative training initiatives.
Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement a comprehensive learning and development strategy aligned with the organisation's goals and objectives.
2. Design and deliver training programs that enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance.
3. Collaborate with department heads and subject matter experts to identify training needs and create targeted learning solutions.
4. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, metrics, and performance reviews.
5. Lead a team of learning and development professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship.
6. Stay current with industry trends and best practices in learning and development to continually improve programs.
7. Manage the learning and development budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions that meet organizational needs.
8. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development across the organisation.
Experience
1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organisational Development, Education, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
2. Proven leadership experience in learning and development
3. Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire employees at all levels.
5. Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple initiatives.
6. Experience working in the healthcare or social services industry is a plus.
