**SUPPORT WORKER**

We are looking for a **Support Worker** with experience in autism spectrum disorders and learning disabilities. Any further training will be provided.

The Role

You will be working within a team of skilled support workers, enabling young people and adults living in the community to live as full and independent a life as possible.

We support individuals with a wide range of needs and conditions, including learning disabilities, mental health problems, autism, acquired brain injury and sensory impairments. Some of the people we support may have difficulties with communication and, at times, may display behaviours that are deemed to be challenging. Bespoke, high-quality training will be given so that you have exactly the right skills needed to support each client.

We are keen to recruit skilled and experienced support workers with a strong value base, who demonstrate kindness, compassion, and integrity, alongside best practice.

Elements of your role may include:

- Administration and handling of medicines
- Personal care
- Manual handling
- Positive behaviour support
- Record keeping and documentation
- Have a minimum of 6 months’ support work experience
- Have the right to work in the UK
