We are searching for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join a leading fashion brand to keep finances positioned for continued success. You will be a key partner in the business, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and be part of the leadership team. As the head of finance, you will play a pivotal role in our company’s operations, driving the financial planning and strategic decision-making process by providing crucial insights and analyses that support the company’s business expansion efforts. Chief Financial Officer - Key Responsibilities.
* Financial planning and forecasting, including annual budgeting and long-range strategic planning. Collaborate with department heads to ensure accurate and achievable financial forecasts in a cost effective and efficient manner.
* Analyse KPI’s and financial metrics to provide comprehensive business insights for decision making on pricing, profitability, and growth strategies, detect trends and proactively address risks and opportunities in a changing environment.
* Produce accurate and timely financial reports, including financial statements, monthly management reports, cash flow projections and KPIs.
* Lead and develop a high-performing, proactive finance team, providing guidance, coaching, and fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
* Develop and implement best practices and tools to ensure a well-controlled yet flexible organization that has strong fiscal management, project coordination, cross team communication and workflows.
* Manage and optimize working capital and treasury, including cash flow.
* Cultivate strong relationships with all stakeholders, including shareholders, investors, and lenders.
Chief Financial Officer - Qualifications/Skills
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or a Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in accounting, business accounting or finance.
* 5 or more years as either a CFO/FD (experience in either the fashion industry or in ecommerce is preferred)
* Demonstrable track record overseeing accounting and financial planning and analysis functions
* Understanding of advanced accounting, regulatory issues, and tax planning.
* Experience leading turnarounds and making strategic choices
