Are you an experienced economist with a solid background in competition or regulatory economics? A UK regulator is looking for an economist to join their dynamic economics function and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of their given sector.
The Role
You will drive and shape the economics work related to financial services, collaborating with a team of skilled economists to tackle a variety of complex economic issues. Your contributions will directly impact how the industry is shaped.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead economic analysis in the context of regulatory projects and policy development
- Work closely with a team of economists to address complex economic challenges
- Draft reports and hold presentations
- Liaise with key stakeholders
- Line manage a team of economists
Requirements
- BSc or MSc in Economics
- Previous experience in competition or regulatory economics
- Strong background in designing and implementing economic regulation
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous management experience
