The Technical Assistant will work to support the technical function and work closely with the Quality Manager to offer support to the quality control team.
Key responsibilities will include;
Management and support across: -
Traceability
Complaints / Rejections
Product / Customer Specifications
Packaging / Labelling due diligence
Weekly visits to 3rd party packing facilities
A key position within the technical team, the successful individual will gain the opportunity to work with colleagues based at source, 3rd party service providers, the inhouse quality team, and an impressive Head of Technical who can support and develop technical knowledge going forward.
Requirements;
Experience within the Fresh Produce or Chilled Food sectors
Exposure to product quality standards, BRC, HACCP, and customer platforms is key
Confident, passionate approach, with the ambition to achieve success and work positively as part of a team
This position does require a driving licence due to location and travel to other sites.
Salary: £32-35k dependent on experience offered
Location: Kent, commutable from Kent and Essex
Shift: Sunday - Thursday
Hours: 8.00am - 5.00pm
