Position Summary: We are currently seeking a motivated Environmental Remediation Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in supporting and managing remediation projects, conducting Phase II site assessments, and assisting in the preparation of commercial proposals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide project management and technical support for remediation contracting activities.
  • Conduct thorough Phase II site investigations to assess environmental conditions.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including local authorities and developers, to ensure project success.


Work Environment: The position will require a blend of office-based tasks and fieldwork, with the flexibility to work remotely for non-site-related responsibilities.


Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 3 years of post-graduate experience in a relevant field, with significant on-site exposure.
  • Familiarity with soil characterization, sampling techniques, and remediation strategies.
  • A valid driving license, as travel across various project sites is necessary.


Additional Information: This is a permanent role with a competitive salary range of £30,000 to £35,000, commensurate with experience. A comprehensive benefits package is included, featuring a company vehicle, 25 days of annual leave plus public holidays, private health insurance, and enrollment in a pension scheme.
