Job Title: SHEQ Manager - Utilities Division

We are seeking an experienced SHEQ Manager to join our team in the utilities division. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on health, safety, quality, and environmental issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide competent advice and guidance on SHEQ issues
  • Liaise with key clients at a senior level
  • Liaise with operational staff to meet contract and business needs
  • Support management and contract teams in line management responsibility for SHEQ issues
  • Provide specialist assistance with risk assessments and risk management
  • Ensure the division safety management system is updated and fit for purpose
  • Oversee incident investigations and provide expert advice on root causes
  • Ensure resources are available to managers, including documentation and training
  • Support the implementation of Quality and Environmental Management systems
  • Manage a team of SHEQ Advisors and Coordinators
  • Provide monthly and annual reports on contract performance
Requirements:
  • NEBOSH Diploma level qualification
  • Previous experience as a SHEQ Manager in the utilities industry
  • Excellent communication skills and a dynamic approach

Frequent travel across a wide area will be required for this position.
