We have an opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager who is looking for a hands-on role, is results-driven and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and being part of change-driving leadership team.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This role will be working very closely to the Financial Controller (based in US), and will have oversight of the entire financial controlling function of the UK/EMEA market.
This position is suitable for someone who is looking to be involved in business transformation, driving efficient procesess and performance at optimum level, managing a team o finance professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure monthly financials are produced accurately & timely with proper reconciliations and supporting documentation for each balance sheet area and filed properly with Group reporting.
2. Oversee statutory audit and tax scheduling and compliance across all UK/EMEA in accordance with Group and local deadline requirements.
3. Evaluate processes to determine they are utilizing internal technology most efficiently.
4. Developing best practise and consistent processes across the RSIS Global team, in collaboration with US counterpart and aligned with Group Finance Manual
5. Managing the workload of the team to ensure that month end peaks are minimised. Ensure cross training and succession plans are maintained.
6. Provide monthly reports to functions & markets Partners providing insight into costs for month and variances
7. Manage submission of half, full year and ad hoc information requests required by Group
8. Ensure accurate headcount reporting
9. Produce information required for external and internal audit purposes
10. Ensure compliance and improvement of internal controls, including quarterly internal controls review and annual internal controls audit performed by Group
11. Review and oversight of SAP master data (vendor adds, customer details, chart of accounts)
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
* Qualified Accountant (ACA preferred), with experience in both audit and company accounting (including statutory audit oversight)
* Adaptability and excitement to drive change and process improvement
* Positive outlook: looks to the future for opportunity, constantly challenges the status quo and drives for high performance
* Personable, enthusiastic, team-oriented, and able to lead by example.
* A good communicator who can forge strong relationships in a matrix structure
* Experience in SAP
* Strong Excel skills
