Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team at Page Personnel Finance. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing financial leadership and guidance to our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the production of month-end close process and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models to inform business decisions.
  • Conduct detailed KPI and variance analysis, providing insightful commentary to stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain financial summaries and reports for the Board and senior management.
  • Manage payroll journals and control account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in financial leadership and management, preferably in a not-for-profit or public sector organization.
  • AAT Level 4 or working towards CIMA/ACCA qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Desirable: experience working in a values-led organization or a company with a strong social mission.
