A leading London Market Insurer is on the search for an expereinced qualified financial reporting accountant to join their high performing corporate accounting function based in the City of London.


Responsibilities will include;

  • Intercompany reconciliations, consolidations and group reporting
  • UK and overseas statutory reporting (UK GAAP/US GAAP) and Lloyd's filings (QF1/AF1)
  • Provide commentary and analysis on on key movements of corporate entity reports
  • Support and complete tax filings and returns
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders on the timely delivery of reports and audits
  • Play a pivotal role in the ongoing digital transformation project within finance and across the business
  • Assist the Corporate Financial Controller with driving and enhancing process improvements


You must be;

  • Qualified Accountant with 3-5 years PQE
  • Must have experience in a finance role within Insurance
  • Proven experience reporting under UK GAAP
  • Demonstratable knowledge of financial processes and controls
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Proficient with MS Office, Excel and use of GL systems


Salary on offer is between £70k - £85k (depending on experience) + benefits, bonus and hybrid working.
