Our vibrant school community in Portsmouth is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our team.
In this enriching role, you'll play a vital role in supporting students' learning and development by:
  • Providing individualized support: Working alongside qualified teachers to tailor learning activities and resources to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Fostering a positive learning environment: Assisting with classroom management, creating a supportive and inclusive atmosphere where all students feel comfortable participating and reaching their full potential.
  • Building relationships: Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to supporting students' academic progress and social-emotional well-being.
  • Promoting independence: Encouraging students to develop their learning strategies and fostering a sense of self-confidence in their abilities.

The Ideal Candidate:
  • Possesses a genuine passion for supporting young learners and a commitment to inclusion.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Enjoys a collaborative working style and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintains a positive and patient attitude with a strong sense of responsibility.
  • While not mandatory, a qualification in childcare or a related field is a plus.
