Contract: Full Time, Fixed Term until January 2025
Salary: 18-21hr Via umbrella
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Tenancy Sustainment Officer to join our client's team on a full-time basis until January 2025.This role is vital in supporting our clients tenants and homeless families in there temporary accommodation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Tenant Support: Provide comprehensive support to tenants, for previously homeless individuals.
• Housing Management: Oversee the housing management of the including conducting fire alarm tests and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Temporary Accommodation Support: Assist homeless families residing in council-provided temporary accommodation, managing license agreements and offering ongoing support to help them sustain their tenancy.
Requirements:
• Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a housing or homelessness support context.
• Strong understanding of tenancy sustainment and housing management.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide effective support to vulnerable individuals.
• Ability to manage challenging situations with empathy and professionalism.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to housing.
