V&C are excited to be recruiting a new position for Sales Performance Manager to join an award-winning tour operator as it looks to accelerate growth and maximise all sales leads while still delivering exceptional personal service.
This is an important position within the team involving analysing sales data, identifying areas for growth, and implementing strategies to improve sales performance, working closely with the Head of Sales to identify the needs of the sales team such as coaching, training, and support, helping them develop their skills and achieve their goals.
The suitable candidate will have previous experience of sales within the travel sector and performance management, and have worked in helping and assisting their colleague in become a better sales agent.
MAIN ROLES
Analysing sales data; identifying areas of growth; implementing strategies to improve sales performance; onboarding new starters.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Implement Strategies: Create and execute sales performance strategies to enhance team effectiveness.
- Data Analysis: Monitor and analyse sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Coaching and Training: Provide guidance and training to the sales team to improve their performance.
- Performance Monitoring: Track performance goals and listen to sales calls to identify areas of focus
- Improvement programmes: Develop improvement programmes and focus to enable all sales consultants to reach their performance goals
- Collaboration: Work with other departments to coordinate sales and product training to achieve performance goals
- Reporting: Develop and maintain sales performance metrics and create reports for the Head of Sales.
- Onboarding: Onboarding new starters with sales training and organising the schedule for all other new starter sessions
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience in sales management with a strong track record of success.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret sales data and develop effective strategies.
- Communication and Leadership: Excellent communication and leadership skills to inspire and motivate the sales team.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Proactive in approach and a self-starter
- Industry Knowledge: Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices.
- Strong communication skills.
- A personable manner.
