You will be able to claim mileage expenses from base location (your home address) at 45p for every mile travelled. An Enhanced DBS and Prison Clearance is required for this role.  These will be completed as part of the Pre-Employment Screening process.
Who We're Looking For:
Are you passionate about social justice and housing? Do you have a background in the social housing sector as a Housing Officer? If so, we want you to lead housing management in your area, working closely with our Support teams. Your expertise in Housing Law, Welfare Benefits (especially Housing Benefit), and the funding of supported housing, including Exempt Accommodation rules, will be invaluable.
Key Responsibilities:
Income Recovery
Maximise Income: Monitor rent accounts, address arrears, and ensure residents meet their rent obligations.
Collaborative Action: Work with Support Workers and Housing Management Workers to manage arrears.

Tenancy Support
Enforce Tenancy Conditions: Ensure compliance with tenancy and license conditions.
Induct and Train: Support new starters with training on housing management and tenancy creation.
Promote Prevention: Advise on and manage less complex anti-social behaviour cases, focusing on prevention and early intervention.

Policy Access: Help staff access and understand policies and procedures regarding property standards and issue escalation.
Why Join Us?
By joining Nacro, you’ll be part of a dedicated team making a tangible difference in the lives of disadvantaged individuals. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring our housing services are managed effectively, helping to build safer and stronger communities. This is more than just a job; it's an opportunity to be a part of a mission that transforms lives.
If you're ready to take on a role that’s both challenging and rewarding, and if you’re committed to social justice and making a positive impact, we want to hear from you.
