Housing and Support Officer Role

Rate: £24,000 - £28,000 (for 40 hours per week)

Derventio Housing Trust is a leading provider of housing and support services, dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of our clients.

We are currently recruiting for full-time and part-time positions in Derby and Derbyshire, offering flexible working arrangements to suit your needs.

As a Housing and Support Officer, you will have the opportunity to work with individuals who require support to maintain their independence, and to make a real difference in their lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide flexible support to clients, including evening and weekend cover
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the delivery of high-quality support services
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, their families, and other stakeholders
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of support plans, ensuring that clients' needs are met
  • Participate in on-call rota system to provide out-of-hours support
  • Undertake regular training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends
  • Strong desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others
  • Ability to deal calmly with challenging situations
  • Valid driving licence and use of a vehicle for work purposes
  • DBS check required
