About the role:
We are seeking a dedicated SEN-TA - Autism Spectrum Disorder Specialist to join our team in Islington, London, UK. Offering a competitive salary of £85-£100 per day, this full-time, long-term position starts ASAP.
The role has become available due to our initiative to expand our support team, ensuring enhanced care and educational support tailored to the needs of our students with ASD.
You'll collaborate closely with small groups of Key Stage 1 and 2 students (typically 6-8 per group), addressing their unique learning requirements and developmental goals within a nurturing environment characterised by a low student-to-teacher ratio.
Application Requirements:
• Experience working with children on the autism spectrum.
• Understanding of SEN strategies and interventions.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers and therapists.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting children’s development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implementing tailored learning plans for students with ASD.
• Providing one-on-one and small group support in class.
• Assisting with sensory integration activities and behavioral management.
