What You'll Be Doing:
As a Community Psychiatric Nurse, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals within the community to improve their mental health and wellbeing. Here’s a snapshot of a day in your new role:
Community Visits: Conduct regular visits to patients’ homes, ensuring their needs are continuously met and providing compassionate support.
Medication Management: Administer medication as prescribed, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to promote patient health.
Patient Interaction: Build strong relationships with your patients, understanding their conditions deeply, and providing tailored support to foster recovery.
Risk Assessments: Perform thorough risk assessments to maintain a safe environment, ensuring patients are not a danger to themselves or others.

NMC Registration: Active registration as a Mental Health Nurse.
Community Experience: Previous experience in a community setting is essential.
