About the role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant (TA) to join our team on a part-time basis. The role focuses on assisting students who need to catch up with the curriculum and providing targeted support through boosters and interventions. As a KS1 TA, you will be instrumental in helping students bridge learning gaps, working closely with teachers to deliver tailored support.
Application Requirements:
• Experience working with young children, preferably in an educational setting.
• Knowledge of Key Stage 1 curriculum and intervention strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping children succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist teachers in planning and delivering targeted interventions for students needing extra support.
• Work with small groups of children to reinforce learning objectives and boost their confidence.
• Monitor and report on student progress to teachers and parents.
• Provide additional support for SEN students, adapting activities to meet their individual needs.
