About the role:
As a Key Stage 2 TA specialising in English as an Additional Language (EAL), you will play a crucial role in supporting our EAL students and enhancing their learning experience. This role involves working closely with teachers to provide tailored interventions and booster sessions to help our students excel.
Application Requirements:
• Key Skills & Experience: Experience working with EAL students is essential. Previous experience in a teaching assistant role within a primary school setting is preferred. A strong understanding of Key Stage 2 curriculum and SEN practices is required.
• Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in education or child development are advantageous.
• Interview Process: The selection process will involve an initial application review, followed by interviews with the school leadership team.
• Closing Date: Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis until the position is filled.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the delivery of EAL interventions and boosters within Key Stage 2.
• Support students in overcoming language barriers and achieving their academic potential.
• Work collaboratively with teachers to create inclusive learning environments.
• Develop and implement strategies to support students with varied needs.
