About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Teaching Assistant to support our Key Stage 1 pupils with English as an Additional Language (EAL). As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in helping our students overcome language barriers and fully engage in their learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Key Stage 1 pupils with EAL, ensuring they can fully participate in classroom activities.
  • Lead small group interventions focused on literacy, numeracy, and language development.
  • Provide 1:1 assistance to pupils needing extra help.
  • Adapt learning materials to meet the needs of individual students.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Requirements
  • Experience working with children in a classroom setting, particularly those with EAL.
  • A passion for helping children reach their full potential.
  • Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the class teacher and other staff members.
