Team Leader – HR Service Centre (Admin)nLocation - Peterborough (Hybrid 2 days per week on-site)

The HR Service Centre provides HR Administration support services to the network of HR Business Partners, Managers and employees across the Group.

Reporting to the HR Operations Manager, the Team Leader will be responsible for managing a team of HR Assistants based in offices across the Group.

The ideal candidate will be a strong people manager with exposure to HR processes and procedures. The prime focus of the role will be the day-to-day management of the team, ensuring compliance with processes and managing HR projects.

ResponsibilitiesnDay to day management of a team of HR AssistantsnYou’ll be leading, motivating, and developing a team to perform and achieve target performance.nWorkload and resource prioritisation and planningnEnsuring compliance with process and agreed SLAsnSupporting the HR Operations Manager with overall team management and strategynDriving and implementing change including process improvements and automationnSupporting the ER and HR Business Partner community with tasks being routed to the HR Service CentrenMonitoring and managing HR processing with the payroll teamnWorking closely with other Team Leaders to balance the workload effectivelynLeading the team with project based tasksnReview HR process guides and ensure they are regularly updatednUndertake regular performance reviews with team members against key targets and objectives in order to identify business and personal developmental needsnAdhere to FCA and Data Protection Regulations

Experience :nStrong demonstrable people management skillsnWell organised with a keen eye for detailnExperience of working in a high pressure fast-paced environmentnDemonstrates ability to prioritise workflow volumesnHR project experiencenGood computer skills to include Microsoft OfficenA good understanding of HR processes and procedures would be advantageousnAbility to present projects and information clearly and conciselynStrong communication and interpersonal skillsnExperience of managing when things are changed or required at short noticenAbility to coach & communicate across the department and business
