Our client is recruiting for Hygiene Operatives to work for our client in Wellingborough to maintain and improve hygiene standards across all areas of the Wellingborough site ensuring high standards of food safety are achieved at all times.
Key tasks and responsibilities of the hygiene operative:
• Carry out cleaning tasks in accordance with hygiene schedules and cleaning specifications
• Completion of associated hygiene records
• Safe use and storage of cleaning chemicals and pest control chemicals
• Minimise waste through careful control of spillages and rework
• Removal of waste and recycling
• Assist in deep cleaning of production equipment
• Assist in any other department as required
Required skills and/or qualifications of the hygiene operative:
Essential:
• Flexible approach, be adaptable to change and willing to learn new skills
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team
Practical requirements:
The ability to lift bags of flour up to 25 kg, lift equipment when necessary.
Hours for this role are:
Mon – Fri
8am - 4pm
